RUGranite Aggregates
The core business of the Group is the production and sale of a wide range of high quality granite aggregates for the local and export markets. The Group has a large customer base consisting of concrete producers, road construction companies, infrastructure and residential housing developers, and building material manufacturers.
Unigran Group operates three quarries with total granite reserves of approx. 500 million tonnes. Total annual production capacity currently amounts to 5.5 – 6.0 million tonnes.
We offer aggregates of three types of stone – gabbro, grey granite, and red granite – in small, medium, and large sizes, including the following fractions: 0-5, 1-3, 0,063-2, 2-5; 5-10; 3-10; 10-20, 5-20, 20-40, 40-70 , 25-63 mm, washed granite sand, crushed stone, and fines. Our aggregates meet all regulatory requirements, have the highest quality parameters including perfect geometry, high frost-resistance and strength, lowest class of radioactivity, contain no clay or other impurities, and as such are suitable for all types of construction.
At Pyniazevychi Quarry we produce aggregates from a unique stone – gabbro, which is extra strong and has excellent adhesion to asphalt. The products of Malyn Quarry have a high degree of coupling with bitumen which makes it an ideal material for road construction. For landscape designers we are able to offer red decorative aggregates and granite sand, which are produced together with grey granite aggregates at our Korosten Quarry. Our products are widely used not only for construction purposes but also as a surface for children’s playgrounds, tennis courts, and garden paths, etc. Our decorative sand particularly, is available pre-packaged in one tonne big-bags to facilitate delivery to the customer.
The high quality of our products is a result not only of the natural characteristics of the stone at our quarries, but above all to our professional approach to the development, production and processing of the rock mass. The use of modern equipment and technology together with our philosophy of constant improvement are the foundations on which the Unigran Group has built its role as a leader in the aggregates market.
