RUUnigran Group at a glance
Unigran Group is one of the leading producers of aggregates in Ukraine, with its products being sold in Ukraine and exported to Russia, Belarus and other neighboring markets. The aggregate extraction and processing operations are carried out in three quarries, all of which are located in Zhytomyr region, close to Kyiv: Malyn Stone-Crushing Plant, Pyniazevychi Quarry and Korosten Quarry. The Group’s aggregate deposits include three types of stone: gabbro, grey granite and red granite, and are used primarily for road construction and as a component in high-grade concretes.
In addition to its core operations, the Group is also engaged in the production of emulsion explosives, the provision of blasting and drilling services, as well as the manufacture of building materials, mainly pavement tiles.
Unigran today:
» approx. 6 million tonnes of aggregate sales per year,
» approx. 500 million tonnes of total granite reserves,
» own transportation fleet of 235 rail wagons and 41 trucks,
» over 1 000 employees.
